On August  20, 21 & 22 from noon to night on the sidewalks of downtown Lawrence, you’ll witness energetic and creative performances, including:

Fire dancing • Juggling • Sword Swallowing • Magic • Aerial Dancers • Fire Eating • Musicians • Acrobatics • Hula hoop dancers • Belly Dancers • Magicians • Living Statues • Puppeteers • Chalk Artists • Face Painters • Balloon Artists •

Buskers are bold street performers who make magic happen as if by…MAGIC!  Each show is unique and requires constant improvisation in response to a perpetually changing crowd and performance space. Buskers make the world their stage and they rely on the appreciative response of their audience through applause and tips. Be a part of the fun and unique atmosphere that only downtown Lawrence can offer when the Busker Festival gets going!  And be sure to get the kids signed up for lessons in magic, mime, balloon twisting and more.
